Series: Naropa Institute: Theory and Practice of Meditation (5 Talks, 1978)

Chogyam Trungpa discusses how to approach meditation, and through meditation how to skillfully relate to daily life. Trungpa Rinpoche teaches on the practice of shamatha meditation, mahavipashyana or "greater awareness", the six paramitas or "transcendent virtues", madhyamaka or "the middle way", and finally the tantric path, where he discusses the connection between everyday life and magic. Trungpa Rinpoche presents the practice and path of Buddhism in practical, easy-to-understand language which takes it out of the realm of philosophy and into our everyday life.
