Series: Public Seminar: Feminine Principle (4 Talks, 1975, Karme Choling, Audio)

Trungpa Rinpoche begins this four-talk seminar by pointing out that the feminine principle is not a sociological idea but has to do with meditation and the nature of reality. He describes a kind of basic atmosphere that is completely accommodating and has the potential to give birth, and thus could be referred to as “feminine.” Prajnaparamita, known as the mother of all the buddhas, is considered to be an expression of that unconditioned space. The body of this seminar is about how manifestation arises from unconditioned space, which Trungpa Rinpoche describes in terms of three characteristics: unborn, unceasing, and like the sky. Basis of the book GLIMPSES OF SPACE.
