An examination of the bardos (in-between or intermediate states) and the six realms (the worlds into which we are born). These are explained as not only pertaining to actual death and rebirth, but as a way to understand and work with the madness and sanity that are taking place in everyday life. In this seminar, Trungpa Rinpoche emphasizes how an individual cycles through all of the bardos while in a single realm. This seminar was the basis for Part 2 of the book TRANSCENDING MADNESS, and is a companion to the other seminar in that book, "The Six States of Bardo".
