Series: Public Seminar: How to Bring About Enlightenment (3 talks, 1980, Chicago, Audio)

These talks explore core teachings of the Mahayana path, also known as the path of the bodhisattva. The topics covered include maitri (loving-kindness); karuna (compassion); bodhichitta (enlightened heart); meditation practice; and the role of the teacher, or "spiritual friend." Note: This was a two-part seminar in which the Vajra Regent Ösel Tendzin gave the first three talks one week, and Trungpa Rinpoche gave the last three talks the next week.
