This is the third three-talk seminar Rinpoche gave on the topic, published in the book WORK, SEX, AND MONEY. It takes a somewhat different approach to the material from earlier seminars. The first talk describes spiritual materialism as a misguided search for permanent happiness, and emphasizes the importance of compassion in developing a true spiritual path. The second talk describes the key role meditation and post-meditation (meditation in action) play in relating with daily living situations to transcend spiritual materialism and experience egolessness. The final talk connects work, sex, and money to the three root poisons (aggression, passion, ignorance), describing their prominent role in ego's game.
